New Makeup This Month

Weather you're buying makeup online or in-store, the feeling of receiving new makeup feels like Christmas all over again. This month I purchased new makeup products that I tested and I wanted to share with you.

NARS Natural Radiant Long-wear Foundation

• Tahoe

I usually wear full coverage foundations, but when I came across the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation in Sephora I had to buy it. The fact that it claims to be long wearing with a natural radiant finish attract me the most. Also, the color range is pretty impressive with 33 different undertones and shades, I defiantly recommend this foundations to woman of color.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

• Sucre D'Orarge

This was a concealer that was raved about so much on Youtube that I had to put it to the test. Unfortunately, I have to rate it a 4 out of 10. I compared it to my Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, which provides full coverage, easy blendabilty, and doesn't crease. However, the Nars concealer gives a medium coverage and creases like CRAZY under the eyes. Over all, this concealor was just "OK" for me.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Foundation Stick

• Walnut

I wanted a new cream contour that I can count on and the ABH Foundation Stick was the first product I thought of. Needless to say I love it, this is a highly pigmented foundation stick that leaves a natural looking demi-matte finish.

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick

• Trendsetter

What can I say I'm a liquid lipstick junkie! This liquid lipstick is super comfortable on lips with intense color pay-off and transfer-proof properties. By the way, the color is super CUTE.

Revlon Ultra HD Lip Laquer

• Smokey Topaz

• Petalite

I came across these two beautiful glosses at Ulta and wanted to give them a try. Revlon had a buy one get one 40% off sale, plus nude and peachy glosses are my favorite. They both provide highly pigmented shine that looks great with or without a lipstick underneath.

Maybelline FIT Me Loose Finishing Powder

• Medium Deep

Last week I was looking for a new face powder because I noticed with my current powder it sometimes makes my foundation look cakey. Which is NOT the look I'm going for. So then I did my research (on Youtube) and noticed allot of my FAVS were using the Maybelline FIT me Loose Finishing Power to set their face. After testing the product out, I noticed that it controls shine and gave me flawless finish!
